Buying Assistant – Store Support Centre

Location:
Based within the buying department of Netto Foodstores store support centre located in South Elmsall, Near Pontefract in West Yorkshire.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm

Main duties:
This full time role within a busy team is a general support role working closely with an individual buyer. Liaising and building relationships with key suppliers and colleagues directly, by telephone, e mail and written correspondence to ensure continuity and efficiency of the buying process.

Applicant requirements:
The successful candidate should live within 45 mins drive from the office and have the following:
* a polite and professional telephone manner
* a positive and helpful attitude.
* a confident credible communicator with good interpersonal skills.
* good organisational skills
* good general PC skills and software knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
* ability to adapt to using varied systems
* ability to prioritise tasks
* detail orientated with good follow up
* ability to work to a high standard and to time constraints
* a driving licence

Salary/benefits
The position is salaried and holidays are 5 weeks per year.
