Netto expansion plans mean we are looking to extend our estate by 20 – 25 new stores each year for the foreseeable future. It is an ambitious plan but we are ambitious people.

Location:
The head office is located in South Elmsall, Near Pontefract in West Yorkshire. However there is some flexibility with regard to base location as much of the role will be spent on the road and we are looking for developers to cover regions throughout England and Wales.

Main duties:
· To deal with all aspects of development including site acquisition, planning, design, delivery.
· To establish, coordinate and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of internal colleagues and external consultants including lawyers, property agents, architects, planning and highways consultants etc.
· To evaluate and put together new business submissions.
· To identify and acquire land, buildings and joint venture opportunities using sound judgement.
· Following identification of site opportunities – initiate transactions and follow them through to completion

Applicant requirements:
· Ideally (not essential) 2 years post qualification experience (RICS)
· Thorough knowledge and understanding of the planning and development process
· Ideally (not essential) having an existing network of land/development contacts
· Capable of working within a small professional team but with ability to work independently and with flexibility.
· Confident and credible, able to deal effectively with people at a senior level including external professional teams
· Committed commercial approach with integrity & enthusiasm and the ability to work externally
